Do transsexuals live longer?
Neither. No one should ever simply "trust" the science. All scientific claims should be read and evaluated on a case by case basis and only if the evidence, theory, documentation, reasoning, and explanation add up should you consider accepting the claims as true.
And even then, all science is accepted on a tenuous basis. Meaning that even though it might really really seem true right now, some unknown pieces of evidence might surface tomorrow that discredit some or even all of the claim.
Science is not to be trusted. It's to be accepted when there is sufficient reason to do so and always with a grain of salt. And this is coming from someone who adores science. It's one of my single greatest passions in life. But it's because I love it so much that I believe it is so important to use it properly.
No respectable scientist would ever say, "trust me bro I'm a scientist". We all know that we not only could be wrong about any given thing. We probably are.

science isn't meant for everyone to just "trust". it's meant to be read, understood and eventually ciritiqued and improved upon. just cause it's part of science doesn't mean it's true by default. there are scientific results that wer know are correct with very high confidence and there are scientific results that lack substance. transsexuals do NOT live longer that's bullshit. in fact the suicide rates inside the group of transsexuals is so high that even that alone invalidates the argument that they "live longer". don't have to conduct any compicated social science to know that. and i am in social science, so i know xD
you know parts of science are "observations" and part of science are "theories". observations re just that very obviously exist in reality that we are describing. and part of that observable reality is that trans people do worse in mortality statistics. the only way you could make the bullshit argument if you made the statistical error of counting all the hundreds of years of "there not being data for transsexual mortality" as "them not dying". and the news paper article smells like they did that. but that's statistical nonsense. not science xD
ugh. just that alone is time to take with a pinch/bucket load of salt. a lot of these "researcher says" is literally just that. a random person who happens to have a job label of "researcher" saying shit whilst not having evidence.
No, I never "trust the science", because you're not supposed to trust it; you're supposed to question it. Always.

Don’t automatically trust any “science”. That word is thrown around WAY too much in the US, especially considering how plainly dumb as f*ck most people are.
Here’s an unpopular truth the loudmouth dummies don’t want to face up to: even scientists don’t inherently “trust” science. That’s why results are constantly being challenged, processes retried, and good data is proliferated the way that it is.
The results of any scientific research can be edited and filtered to produce a desirable narrative, and it almost always is. Science isn’t cheap, let alone free. So all the people and companies funding research are MORE interested in getting returns on their investment than in any measure of “truth”.The above article is from The Guardian, a Pro-Feminist/Pro-Left Broadsheet newspaper, I would not trust any "Scientific" article in that newspaper, here's the full article;
It could definitely make sense to me. Most of the lower life expectancy for men is young men doing very risky stuff. Like driving motor cycles at high speeds, picking fights with other men, punting all your money on options or crypto (that one doesn't lead directly to death but it can in the wrong circumstances) I'm sure you can think of more examples yourself. Most of that behavior comes directly from testosterone so it's believable that a person without it would live longer in todays world. But it also makes you not a male anymore which is kind of a big deal. And there are still a lot of men who survive the most dangerous time and go on to live long lives.
Neither: examine the evidence and supporting and against it and test for reproducibility, as per the basic aspects of the scientific method you were taught about in grade school.
And in this case, it actually IS true that the strain large levels of testosterone produces do correspond with a lower life expectancy, heavy levels of estrogen not only don't provide men the same protection, but are even worse.
But you're not interested in the truth, are you? No; you're all about making people who disagree with you look stupid.
Look in the mirror, man; you're doing it to yourself.
The second one! Besides, if they tried to do that to me? They wouldn't last on this earth for 5 more minutes!
Science can be wrong as well as right. But what you're alluding to are "opinions" and little to do with science.
Woke is a far right term to describe anything that isn't giving billionaires more money. It has nothing to do with science.
Depends on the research: has it been vetted? Was it peer-reviewed? What's the track record of the researcher?
All "science" has squandered their trust.
and live longer if limit calories. women live longer if don't have kids.
Woke garbage like this masquerading as science and the utter shit show over the past 4 years with Covid has destroyed my trust in the "scientific community"
Disregard it. There's no such thing as science anymore. It's been poisoned by politics.
Frankly I think we should follow the science and all Democrats should be subject to mandatory castration.
I trust the actual science, and not the people who masquerade as scientists but are actually "activist"..
Trust the science!

Lack of testosterone is terrible for men’s health so It sounds like delusional misandrist nonsense
I think we should test this theory on modern men. It’ll also keep the birth rates and rape cases down.
I trust common sense science. All ish that sounds ridiculous and contrary to common sense I reject.
This person isn't a scientist- she is a "storyteller" with an agenda.
Bohannan is just another hate driven feminist "researcher". She and her "work" are not worth anyone's attention.
