I’m going to the USA late next year, to visit my friend. What should I pack? We’ll be up in a rural area of the USA, in a small southern town. It’s an area where I’m better off not dressing to look like I’m well off. Leaving all my nice things home. If I were to arrive in fall, say, October or November, what would I wear?
they give you an American outfit when you arrive at customs

One thing about the US and is that we where literally whatever lol.
Like it’s common for us to go out wearing our pajamas and nobody questions it. I’ve heard that’s not the case in a lot of other countries.
i would just bring tshirts, hoodies, jeans, etc. Just regular casual clothes. It will probably be a bit cold at night so maybe a light jacket
Blue jeans and sweatshirts. You will blend right in

Kind of overengineering if packing for next fall… it’s more about the weather.
The country is big and the weather varies. That depends on where you are going
You should bring clothes for warm weather but also some clothes for chilly weather. Not sure how south you will be but it may be chilly especially at night.
A little American flag, a MAGA hat, a Trump 2024 shirt, the famous Trump socks, and whatever pants you want
It's a small southern town so it'll probably be pretty hot despite it being October and November so wearing summer clothes would work.
What part of the south?
A white shirt and blue jeans.
There isn’t a dress code
A bullet proof vest.
Largely depends on the temperature
Wear whatever tbh
Whatever they are selling there
clothes would be good lol
