well, if you're looking for the fundamentals of IT, with little to no experience/beginner, it could be. i know it's credible and gives recognition in the IT job market and it aligns with industry standards/prepares you for entry-level IT jobs, so if that's what you're looking for, then you could start there. it is essentially a stepping stone to further your IT certifications. but it only offers broad coverage of IT topics
but again, this just prepares you for entry-level positions. it's not a degree, at all. it's a certificate. so it won't give you the advantage of showing you have a degree when searching for a job
are you looking to enter the IT field from a completely different career choice that you already have? or are you looking to up your resume with credentials? if you're looking into an IT field, this alone may not be enough because it's not specialized in a specific area or advanced

Sure if you’re a beginner and it’s something you’re considering long term.
My friend, who i dont really talk to anymore. We're not like, enemies, but, we're not really talking anymore, took a 10 week class that was SUPER intensive, if you have the time to do it. It was a programming thing, and at the end, if you pass, you're certified in programming. I highly suggest you do it
My entire career has been sent in computers... software, hardware, systems... and I've never known anyone who has a Google IT certificate.
A Microsoft certificate or degree/certificate in cyber-security would be better.

The Google IT Support Professional Certificate is worth it if you're looking to start a career in IT. It's affordable, flexible, covers essential IT skills, and is recognized by many employers. It's best suited for those new to the field or seeking entry-level roles. However, it won't replace a college degree and might not add much value if you already have significant IT experience.
Any certificate you can put work in to learn the subject efficiently is worth it. But that is my opinion, anything you learn is valuable and can be used.
If you are trying to enter the IT field, there are other certificates you should have. If it is to enhance your resume it is okay,
Even if it's only tangentially related to your field it can help with promotions or if you end up looking for a new job.
Nothing from Google is ever worth as much as it costs.
That depends on how you define its value.
For example if you think you'll make more money because you have it I think you'll be disappointedMy guess is that the certificate itself is worthless. However, if google hires you--THEN it's quite valuable.
If that's the field you're in, that's the certificate to get.
Yes if you plan to also go to college or if your job requires one for a pay bump
