Love the photo! I feel like it captures my own love/hate relationship with them… enough to help my parents, but not enough to avoid calling IT once a week. 🤔😂
Thanks

Enough to get by and I have some interest in them but I have many other interests
I WISH... I knew a lot more about computers, but I don't...
I do like to know enough about them though... to solve and troubleshoot a few issues here and there, lol
From back when 16KiB was a lot of memory.

Dayum! No wonder Bill Gates claimed that 640k ought to be enough for anybody.
Just the basics, but I sure wish I knew more. I think it would save me a lot of time when that shit breaks and I have to go on YouTube to figure it out.
Yes, it interests me. I’m not adept at writing assembly software. Nor could I just manufacture the hardware by hand. I can tell you the theory behind binary and how to assemble a computer from a list of chosen components.
Quite a bit- easily enough to know it's easiest to learn about from sources that AREN'T at a diagonal on the ceiling.
A little bit, or more precisely more than the average citizen, but i am not a programmer. But i like learning more.
I'm a programmer. I like writing code. It pays well. I hate messing around with Windows administration.
A little. Not much. Not really my thing. But I respect and admire people who are good with computers.
Working with, building and maintaining computers and computer systems has been my career.
I know some built my own and helped troublefix a few

I have a masters in Computer Science and have been in IT for almost 30 years.
It runs off some kind of electrical current I think...
Been around computers all my life and it's been a staple for my hobbies, entertainment, and even my love life.
I have a two year associate degree in them. But windows has gotten so complex since windows xp that it is just a headache.
Unfortunately, I fall into the "technological caveman" category.
I used to repair pcs when I was ~10, helping my dad's business out. I also graduated CS and I'm a programmer.
Fair to say I know enough, haha.
Only what I've happened to learn from friends or on my own, but I've always loved computers.
The computer I'm currently writing on is an i5 over clocked with a water cooler keeping the CPU cool. I built it myself. And then I rebuilt it again when the case took a dump. I like computers.
