Linux now, mostly. It WAS Windows, but the changes 8 made were in the wrong direction, and 10... Look, the first time I saw a screencap of that "Windows is a service" screen, I thought it was a joke. Bluntly, if the userbase lets a company get away with that, you need to RUN, and fast. I stuck with 7 as long as I could, but new hardware can't even run it anymore.
The adjustment has not been easy or smooth; going from a series of operating systems I'd been using since before I could properly read to one where I'm basically a toddler again is NOT fun.
I use Windows on my PC at home, Windows and Linux at work, and Android on my smartphone. I dislike anything Apple, so IOS (mac) is something I will probably never use.
I find Microsoft to be more aesthetic and interesting than MacBooks but I had no choice but to use Mac cause Microsoft and Window Computers get attacked by viruses more and when you are as reliant on digital data as I am, being a previous university student, you can't afford to lose data or not have access to data. MacBooks get viruses too but they are less frequent and usually less lethal to your computer.
Chrome OS
I've used the other three, and I'm sold on Chrome. But if people have an old machine, they shouldn't throw it away. You can breathe new life into your old clunker with Linux.
These are the two distros I recommend.

Windows. It needs in/out firewall and packet filter that has to be administered by someone who knows basic of networking. In other hand 99% of software is made for windows. Of course I would never run a windows file or webserver, but as desktop OS it's the best option for me.
S-Mack---intosh---
It just works better than the other crap. Used to use all of it. It's unix anyways under the hood. Buy one used cheap, the old ones last a long time, if the higher level units. $200 bucks and can be yours.
I can't stand windows... used to code it, it's a nightmare.
I’ve been using my MacBook Air since 2014.
It still runs good as new!
Except for the battery life. I need to get that battery replaced. 🤣
Macs are super duper reliable. You just can’t game very well on them. 🎮
Long time Windows user here. Linux is starting to look like a more attractive woman to me as Windows grows into a bigger pile of unmanageable and resources confiscating garbage full of bloatware.
Haven't decided to migrate to Linux just yet. In my eyes Windows has ran its course.
I prefer Linux, but when I can't get what I need done in Linux then I use Windows.
I've only ever used 'Windows'. I don't even know what the other two look like when they appear on a screen.
I use mostly Windows but I have some iPads I support and I teach a UNIX/ Linux course
All three. Windows mostly for gaming purposes. Mac and Linux for work and side projects
Use Windows on my desktop and Linux on my laptop.
I prefer Linux. I only use windows when I have to.
Windows primarily, Linux secondarily. But I hope in the near future I will be primarily using Linux.
all three now...
I use windows..
But Linux is best
I'm using Windows.
