Iphone 4S was my last apple product and I haven't looked back ever since.
They have amazing cameras but the rest of it is a morbidly overpriced piece of junk with processing power equal or inferior to most of the competition (as an engineer I should know) it's the scam if the century as it ropes in the fools who buy into the apple dream and find themselves buying airpods and chargers and forced to use a mac which is inferior to windows and linux in every way possible just because apple are such big shots they refuse to make their software compatible with other platforms.
I pitty people who flex an iPhone but I suppose when you payed the price of a small car for one you'll feel the urge to flex as a coping mechanism
I use my phone for maps and mail.
Furthermore, lets compare its price with some high grade equipment I have:
- Professional Nikon D90 camera: $500
- Studio speakers + Sub: $400
- Lenovo high framerate monitor: $200
- Colorimeter: $160
And don't tell me about iPhone photos. Here you have some photos with my cheaper Nikon. This is how good photos look like:
I'm a little salt that I bought my dad the 13. I knew this would be the one where they switched it a bit, but I didn't want to wait another year, lol.
I love Samsung and love the customization. The only thing that has me thinking about iphones is the ease of communication. Majority of my friends have iphones and i switch my number quite a bit.
I never buy phones for their features. I buy them if they look shiny and pretty :)

Never buy new! I always buy a few generations old. I can usually find "new old stock." I bought a 1st gen SE four years ago for $100. Does everything I need and still has 97% battery life, but it will not take the new iOS 16 coming out so I am looking for a new "old stock." I refuse to spend $1000 or even $500 on a phone.
Same with MacBooks. I have several 2012 A1278's that I picked up for under $120 each. Easy as pie to add SSD and more RAM, and viola have a decent working laptop for cheap that is faster than a lot of the new ones. And since these are Intel based, if you hate MacOS you can install Windows or Linux on them without a problem.
IPhone are simply a pocket grab and a scam. Every year you get the same looking phone with similar features and different colors. Apple's brand is so powerful, they managed to convince people to buy a computer stand for $1000, because gullible people would pay for it.
If you have enough money to get yourself an iPhone every year, might as well invest into stocks or crypto as you will at least there you will have return on the investment.
Nope. The cameras are really the only area where there are still any meaningful improvements being made to mainstream smartphones.
Maybe once they all start having projectors built-in, I'll be more interested...
I haven't had an apple device at all since the iPhone 4. I haven't gone back since I found out I can put media and personally created phone apps onto my android without having to mod the os. That and so many of them have an SD card slot and built in a pen. I may or may not have about 60gb worth of pirated content on my phones sd card rn >.> lmao

No way! they are pioneers in innovating new ways to rip people off. With planned obsolescence by engineering phones to only last a few years and firmware updates that slows down older models to make you buy more replacements. they were the first company not to include chargers with their phones among other things and then Samsung followed their lead. I wouldn't want to show other companies that crime pays.
I just use a phone until it stops working properly. It makes calls, it connects to the internet, everyone who tries to message me can do so. Spending so much money trying to stay on the cutting edge of everything just seems foolish and wasteful to me. Besides, half the time apple products remove feautes like aux cords and for... what, exactly?
Try living in Australia where the phone will cost you around $2,000 so no thank you. I've had an iPhone in the past and I had only had like 10 photos on my phone and 2 apps and it was always telling me my icloud storage was full when it wasn't as the phone was brand new it wouldn't even let me view the 10 phones on my phone because it kept saying unable to download as storage is full so that experience alone will never make me buy an iPhone ever again.
Did you talk to apple about it
@MiseriaCantareAFI was my opinion left for you no it wasn't so buzz off
No! I am happy with my iPhone 8. I am not the type that needs to have the latest gadgets. When my battery life gets under 70% I will buy a new iPhone then. I suspect I will use this iPhone for about 2 more years.
I have two questions. Does it make phone calls? Does it send and receive SMS texts? If the answer to both is yes, then at that price, it is way too expensive for my needs. I will stick with my €20 Dorro.
Absolutely despise endlessly malfunctioning androids (and windows computers), never again.
So, yes. Worth the investment for sanity alone. Eventually though. I wouldn’t need a newly released model.
Considering the value of phones deprecates at a faster rate than a car, I’d say absolutely not. The issue is the phones are extremely expensive but not too expensive to be out of he price range for poor people to buy it. People will literally waste a full paycheck to buy these phones. The new feeling and showing off the most updated gadget is probably worth the price? It’s hilarious that as soon as you pull the plastic off these phones it immediately looses $100-300 value 😂.
I will never buy an Apple product, a company whose business model is to force its customers to "do things the Apple Way" and charge exorbitant prices... because it can.
Any company can do that
Nope, nothing will get me to waste that kind of money on a phone that won't last 40 to 70 years
800 bucks for a phone. Someone is on crack if they buy that.
I can go to Walmart and but a cheap cordless house telephone for 40 bucks
Other phone companies also sell expensive flagship phones too. A cordless house phone has nowhere near as good specs and features as touch phones. I refuse to call them smart since they have high planned obsolescence.
Hell nah I've been breaking through and selling info on iphones for the last 12 years for free money on the side. I'd never suggest anyone buy them.
The only ''new features'' I wait for are:
- a heating field to warm up coffee
- castor rolls for skateboarding
- taser self-defense
and
- a rubber casing that bounces right back into my hand when I drop the phone
Nope. I do enjoy iPhone, but I don’t need the newest model. I just upgraded from the iPhone 7 to the iPhone X and that’ll keep me happy for years unless I break it and need a replacement.
I’m afraid both models still have a notch. So-called dynamic island is a deceptive disguise.
No. I bought a 13 Pro maybe 6 months ago. It does everything I need even though I could upgrade for $500. Seems like it would be a waste of $495.
Logistically doesn't make sense for me. I can definitely those features on my S22 Ultra. Not to mention I have a PC and a Surface Pro.
Already got my iPhone 14 Pro Max with 1TB storage and in Gold preordered and will be delivered on release date next week.
I never know if pre-ordering is a good idea
