He would give funds to Russia to actively invade Ukraine. All western allies wouldn't give funding to Ukraine.
The Russia military exercise on Ukraine would be over in a week as planned if trump was president. Finland would be next. Poland would call all of nato into war. Don would side with Russia creating the cluster fuck of World War 3 where people gamble on each side with with being usa an Asshat abandoning all responsibilities they held.
This is why don is a threat to global democracy.

He doesn't think he could stop the Ukraine invasion. His plan would have been to validate whatever putin said so that putin didn't have to invade - instead just walking right in and taking it with no resistance.
Trump’s focus on 32-year-old Wall Street Journal reporter Evan Gershkovich, who was arrested by Russian officers in March 2023 and is currently on trial for the trumped-up charge of espionage, is telling. The State Department considers him “wrongfully detained,” a rare designation indicating that the person is being held by a hostile government as a bargaining chip. That designation means the U. S. government will do all it can to secure his release.
At least three times now, Trump has interfered with those negotiations by vowing that Russian president Vladimir Putin will release Gershkovich for him and him alone. He said it in Thursday night’s CNN debacle, where he also made a big deal out of the idea that Putin will do it as a favor, without an exchange of money.
He said something else in his slurry of words that jumped out. Somewhere in his discussion of Putin’s invasion of eastern Ukraine in February 2022, Trump said: “Putin saw that, he said, you know what, I think we’re going to go in and maybe take my—this was his dream. I talked to him about it, his dream.”
Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s 2019 report on Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election explained that Paul Manafort, Trump’s campaign manager and then conduit to Russian operatives, in summer 2016 “discussed a plan to resolve the ongoing political problems in Ukraine by creating an autonomous republic in its more industrialized eastern region of Donbas, and having [Viktor] Yanukovych, the Ukrainian President ousted in 2014, elected to head that republic.”
Manafort had helped to get the pro-Russian oligarch Yanukovych into office, and when Yanukovych fled to Russia after the Ukrainian people threw him out, Manafort was left unemployed and in debt to other oligarchs. When he went to work for Trump, for free, he promptly wrote to his partner Konstantin Kilimnik, whom the Republican-dominated Senate Intelligence Committee identified in 2020 as a Russian operative, asking how “we” could use the appointment “to get whole,” and made sure that the Russian oligarch to whom he owed the most money knew about his close connection with the Trump campaign (p. 135).
The Mueller Report continued: “That plan, Manafort later acknowledged, constituted a ‘backdoor’ means for Russia to control eastern Ukraine” (p. 140). The region that Putin wanted was the country’s industrial heartland. He was offering a “peace” plan that carved off much of Ukraine and made it subservient to him. This was the dead opposite of U. S. policy for a free and united Ukraine, and there was no chance that former secretary of state Hillary Clinton, who was running for the presidency against Trump, would stand for it. But if only Trump were elected….
And, in November 2016, he was.
According to the Republican-dominated Senate Intelligence Committee, Manafort’s partner and Russian operative Kilimnick wrote that "[a]ll that is required to start the process is a very minor 'wink' (or slight push) from D[onald] T[rump] saying 'he wants peace in Ukraine and Donbass back in Ukraine' and a decision to be a 'special representative' and manage this process." Following that, Kilimnik suggested that Manafort ‘could start the process and within 10 days visit Russia ([Yanukovych] guarantees your reception at the very top level, cutting through all the bullsh*t and getting down to business), Ukraine, and key EU capitals.’ The email also suggested that once then–Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko understood this ‘message’ from the United States, the process ‘will go very fast and DT could have peace in Ukraine basically within a few months after inauguration’” (p. 99).
According to the Senate Intelligence Committee, the men continued to work on what they called the “Mariupol Plan” at least until 2018.
In Thursday night’s debate, Trump insisted that Putin never would have invaded Ukraine on his watch (although Putin in fact continued his 2014 assault during Trump’s term, and Trump tried to withhold support for Ukraine).
After Russia invaded Ukraine again in 2022, Jim Rutenberg published a terrific and thorough review of this history in the New York Times Magazine, pointing out that Putin’s attack on Ukraine looked different with this history behind it. Once Biden took office in 2021, the many efforts of the people around Trump, including most obviously Rudy Giuliani, to influence Ukrainian politics through their ties to the White House were over.
“Thirteen months later,” Rutenberg wrote, “Russian tanks crossed the Ukrainian frontier.”Ukraine is already invaded. Think he said if he had been president the past 3 years Russia would not have launched the new invasion they did. Of course the war would end if Ukraine had no funding since they would be forced to make peace.
Keep in mind that in the Afghanistan war, the US government accounting agency looked at all the books & says 90% of the money is unaccounted for. You can bet that most of the money supposedly going to the war in Ukraine isn't actually doing what they say it's doing.
Putting myself in his shoes, I imagine he would have threatened to add Ukraine to NATO and would have negotiated better trade deals for Russia so they could have an avenue to become a more center stage, trusted country.
he could also play middleman and twist Ukraine’s arm so to speak into agreeing to a mutually beneficial deal of come kind involving trade, tax, citizenship, infrastructure etc.Putin genuinely believes in communism. He believes in Russia and is responsible for arguably the most successful version of communism ever. At least that I know of.
There are other feats he could achieve besides taking back land that would be good for his legacy he seems to care so much about.
Biden to that end backed him into a corner, gave him no options and did everything possible to incite violent conflict.
He could've prevented (or at least delayed) the invasion of Ukraine via unpredictability; he might've responded by giving them nukes, or invading Maryland. Russia's elections are as legitimate as Zimbabwe's, where Mugabe would routinely get 110% of the votes. Putin can wait; he'll be president until he dies. This isn't really a GOOD thing on Trump's part, but Ukraine probably wouldn't've been invaded if he'd been reelected.
Trump thinks he could stop the ongoing war because he's a narcissistic blowhard who probably thinks he could Genghis Khan out of attacking the Khwarazemids.
The only thing more delusional than him thinking he's got any control over that are all the people in America that think every last thing that goes on in the world is up to their president. Luckily for the rest of us, this pattern of awful leaders is losing them what's left of their influence around the world.
I doubt even he believes that. It’s just a random non-fact he beats into the airheads of his cult followers. Years and years later we are still waiting for his healthcare plan, his infrastructure plan or just his fricking tax returns. But I am sure they are all sooo amaaazing and the best eeever, we have tears running down our faces.
Because Putin and leaders from other nations that we aren’t aligned with know that our current administration is an absolute joke. Biden is brain dead and is weak.
Just look at it from a basic human fundamental, say a gang. Or take it way back to times where we humans were primitive.
Tribes, gangs do not fuck with others that have strong, bold leaders. They provoke ones that have spineless leaders that are cowards. This is why, basic human psychology. Not to mention Biden legit traded a known arms dealer for a stupid ass basketball player. That says a lot about how stupid and weak our current president is.How does trump think he could prevent ukraine invasion if he was the president
By superior negotiating skills. When he frees oil and gas, he will make Vlad an offer he can't refuse.and how does he think he can stop the war without funding ukraine? When he stops funding them and negotiates a deal, it will stop.
When Trump was president the United States had the best military on the planet and we had a president who knew how to negotiate from a position of strength.
We now have a military that has been decimated from the inside by liberal DEI policies. We also have a president who has been compromised because his family has taken millions from Ukraine and the Big Guy got 10% of the ill gotten gains.
He kept Putin under control when he was president and Putin unleashed on Ukraine as soon as Biden was in office to show he was in charge, not Biden. Trump would bring it back under control on his first day, before his first day he said during the debate. Trump knows how to debate. Biden doesn't know how to do anything and half a million people died as a result.
1, because that is what trump DID as president he prevented putin. 2 by negotiating. he even got 3 muslim countries to recognized israel too! arab emirate bahrain n Morocco
The invasion of Ukraine simply wouldn't have happened. Putin respects Trump.
Please...
Putin had so much dirt on him, Trump rolled over every chance he got. Putin will do whatever regardless of who America elects.
Biden is the president.
