Are young people to concerned with politics and not concerned enough with partying?

when I was 18 or 21 all I wanted to do was get drunk, fuck chicks, go to the gym and have fun. I feel like young people are really obsessed with politics now, is this a good thing or a bad thing? I'll admit me and my friends are probably too stupid, but are these people too concerned? Throw the judgment let me know

My belief is young people have every right to concern themselves with politics, as the country grows more divided the choice becomes more clear to them very clear to them. When there are extremists on the right wanting to completely slash climate change, environmental, and safety regulations on corporations / industrial America they’ll be less likely to cast a vote towards them while also giving their well logical reasons to not elect the other side.
I think certain people would like their vote to disappear or to just “party” instead of keeping their noggin active with researching both sides, seeing who is running, and how to get registered. I want to see more young people get involved and less old folk since old folk seem to be closed minded while young people seem optimistic that we can / will make a difference.

Politics control your life. Without knowledge of politics, especially now, you won't understand what's happening when you struggle to afford anything in the future. Young people should be concerned. Partying and getting drunk used to be easily affordable, but now it's just setting yourself up for failure.
