I believe a law to control fake news and fake things in general should be a thing, cause it's unbelievable how people can just make highly realistic videos and things and fool people to think a completely different reality, it can be quite manipulative and being lawfully forced to mention its fake could control the trend of publicizing fake things and I don't think doing this would be messing with our rights of freedom, there's no difference with controlling this like there's a form of control for many things, just how slapping someone across the face to express my freedom is wrong I believe publicizing something fake to fool people to think its real is also wrong lol

I spent today some time looking for nice wallpapers on the internet... most of files I found, looking for nature related wallpapers, were AI generated... on some sites it's openly marked but mostly, you have to take a closer look to filter...

so yes... I would like it to be publicly known, what is faked or AI generated...

but I think we live in times that people don't care much as long as what they get matches their expectations... faked or not...

It depends, personally when it comes to news and stuff, that's highly manipulative, when you are looking for certain things that isn't really something for a wallpaper or paint on your car, what is fake is still real if you get what I mean, for example a fake copy of branded shoes are fake but you still got the shoes but when someone says there's UFOs flying around and you get a realistic video that is hard to tell if it's manipulated people will think there's aliens and stuff when it's just a plan that's been manipulated to look like a UFO lol

Absolutely. And it is a journalistic ethics standard, for example to show in a documentary which parts are re-enactments or re-spoken from scripts. The main problem is, social media is to serious journalism what a Tijuana wet t-shirt contest is to the Paris Fashion week.
