“My body my choice” is an acceptable response to mask requirements because no person is affected by you wearing a piece of cloth on your face. It is NOT an acceptable response to abortion rights. Abortion is making a conscious decision to stop the life of another human being from ever starting. Killing another person, albeit not a fully developed person who understands what it is happening, is NOT a woman’s right. Abortion should only be allowed in the most extreme circumstances ( ie rape , giving birth would severely harm the mother) .

i don't think it's ever right to force someone to carry a baby for 9 months and force them to raise it/give it up for adoption - it IS the woman's choice, she can take her partner's opinion into consideration obviously but no one should be forced to continue their pregnancy - and yes, if you don't want to get pregnant you should be using contraception but contraception doesn't always work and circumstances can change - you're a man, do you know how scary pregnancy is, how much it changes your body and mental health and yet you choose to support a foetus rather than the living woman? pro-lifers who are so against killing a foetus should also be against any war and killing AND care about all the people in the world by their own logic

I'll also add that the "my body my choice" argument is a lie because the reason women choose to get an abortion rarely have anything to do with their bodies, and everything to do with convenience. Plenty of studies have been done and they all show the same thing... the reasons women choose abortion are things like not wanting a child to get in the way of career or education plans, not being in a stable relationship with the father, not being mature enough to be a mother, or just not wanting a child. None of those things have anything to do with the mother's body. The problem, of course, is that feminists can't achnowledge that because it would be admitting that women choose abortion for exactly the same reasons men would choose not to become a parent, which opens up a HUGE can of worms for feminists.

Not only are they mad as hell and unwilling to budge an inch -- which I absolutely agree with -- the GOP was asinine in even trying to get involved in this situation -- but by all accounts, they're also bent on voting us into CCP status as an eventual communist nation.
