They don't make money out of trees, it's made out of cotton. Also paper manufacturers plant more trees than they harvest because they aren't stupid and know where their future trees come from.
@A_Bell I understand the danger, I just don’t believe it’s “safe” now. Like it’s been shown that every keystroke on your phone is recorded, the government can get audio from newer TVs, there’s cameras everywhere, so I just don’t really get why money going digital is anything crazy when compared to the invasion of privacy that already exists. Also, I believe the government is corporate bought, so I don’t think they would have people just not be able to buy things. The government serves the rich, so they want people being squeezed out of their money buying bullshit
See, you don't see the danger. It's not about privacy. It is about being a non person who cannot even buy a bottle of water because the government shut them off. THIS IS LITTERALLY HAPPENING RIGHT NOW IN CHINA to Foxxcon employees.

I don’t even carry cash most of the time, not even coins. I had 4 credit cards but I think 2 might be expired.
i think it's already mostly digital. people use credit cards and online banking. it's rare that i have cash in big amounts
I'd like to add instant admin charges on the New Jersey turnpike. 50 bucks per toll! No EZ Pass? No cash? Total problem!
Too much red tape and technological progress in the USA is slow no days.
Complete evil. Fight against it with every fiber of your being.
That would kind of suck lol.
I'll pass, thanks. 😬
Please. Hell. No.
I do not support that.
I can barter, I'm good with it
It's fascism.
I’m fine with being recorded, idgaf
How does that collar around your neck feel?
@Juxtapose It feels like a smartphone in my pocket and cameras at every intersection
So because your rights were violated before you're going to keep letting them be violated further and further without resistance?
@Juxtapose I don’t see it as a further rights violation than what I already live in
Without cash you can be denied use of your money at a whim of the state.
@Juxtapose he's a lost cause. He is incapable of seeing the danger like a mouse seeing cheese on a block of wood.
