I went every Sunday with my family when I was a kid. But in my mid-teens I quit going.
Then, when we moved to this area in 2002, my wife and I started attending a liberal, nondenominational, Unitarian Universalist church in order to meet people. I liked it because it wasn't religious. And I did meet some wonderful people. We went every Sunday. But, around 2015 or so, it started getting "woke" and weird. So we quit at the beginning of 2020.
I'm not religious because it is mythology in my opinion.
My wife is still seeking her spiritual path. A friend of hers introduced her to a Pentecostal congregation a couple years ago and she started attending Sunday services because she liked the minister's political views. I even attended a few great political events there with her.
Just recently, she switched to a Seventh Day Adventist church after another friend told her about it. She goes to Saturday service and a weekly Bible study where they try to relate Biblical prophesies to current events.
The two of us discuss what she learns and I share my views and knowledge. She's smart, so I'm not afraid that she will fall for a cult. She doesn't know much about the Bible and is just trying to expand her knowledge, which I support.
wow man, I listened to your life story, I am also a very religious Christian and I listen to Judah Smith every Sunday, we video chat on Saturdays, we pray with church house friends and I read the bible every day.

Religion and spirituality don't have to be exclusive, I am spiritual but I don't follow any known religion. Instead I formed my own beliefs.
@sawno. Same here.

My past mother in law used to go every day. She rarely missed a day.
When I was younger, we typically went to church most Sundays. Now, it's rare that I go to church.
Well, I'm at church every Sunday.
Very few people attend church every day. Most people attend church once per week. That is how often I usually attend.
I asked the wrong question, I was going to ask "Do you go every Sunday?"
I use to.
Last semester I kind of started looking towards switching churches. So, the process is currently slow for me.
Do you? 🤔
Which church are you in? What is your denomination?
I grew up Pentecostal, switched to Apostolic Pentecostal in Uni. Now, I am just heading straight to non-denominational. looool 😅
It's great, I'm a former Catholic, now I'm a non-denominational Christian.
