Why aren't people willing to admit that words have dictionary meanings?

2 the word god has definitions too in oictures, so why pretend nobody knows what is female and doubt what is gos meaning

as a kid... I was given the choice to read the dictionary, or the bible...

I picked the dictionary because it was way way more consistent

as a kid you couldn't compare if either was consistent. you heard... but didn't check.

for starters... most dictionaries have the same definition for words, they are consistent with one another

as for the bible, there's almost a dozen different bibles... so it was evident to me, since I was four years old... that they were not consistent with each other, as the dictionaries were

but your claim SELF destructed.
if MANY suggested not consistent, then also many dictionary bad.
if you checked dictionary same, then MANY versions CAN be same so same many bibles can be same story.
you check... like in bible college n see same story in different translations.
