Hi guys, does anyone else think Islam is a good religion for men?

I think Islam is very beneficial for men. Muslim men can marry up to 4 wives. If each of them works you have 4 wages coming in. In case of divorce a Muslim husband gets twice as much because under Shariah law a wife is worth half a man. Muslim wives have to be obedient. Imagine a wife who doesn’t nag. I’m seriously considering converting. I already speak some Arabic and in terms of the faith itself nothing changes because Muslims worship the same god as the Christians and Jews, the god of Abraham. Just wondering what you guys think.

Oh wow you have got it quite wrong brother. Firstly Islam is the only religion that provides the most protection and rank to women. A woman has her share in her husband’s property and money while a husband can’t question his wife’s money and doesn’t really have a share in it. Islam provides women protection, guidance and support unlike any other religion. I will advise you to read the holy Quran. And if your motivation towards becoming a Muslim is wives and worldly desires, don’t accept it.

If you have money it's good but if you don't you get an ugly wife or have to get a wife in the west to bring home like many Muslim men in the middle east have to as there aren't enough women to go around.

Fundamentalist Mormons are a good example. The wealthy propertied usually older men marry up all the young girls and the a lot of the younger men get kicked out as they are a threat.
