Religions are most definitely man made. They all have the same concepts. Humans fear death so in almost every case, there's some kind of afterlife. In Ancient Egypt, they believed in Duat. Christians believe in heaven and hell. Vikings believed in Valhalla. The Ancient Greeks believed in Hades (the underworld). Hindus believe in Samsara (cycle of death and rebirth). Buddhists believe in the same. Muslims also believe in heaven (Jannah) and hell (Jahannam). Hawaiians believe in Po.
I can go on and on, but my point is human create the concept of an afterlife out of fear of death. It's consistent throughout history. All with different gods and goddesses that represent different things (usually related to nature).
I admit that religion may have been a necessity in the past when it was an era of chaos, people chopping heads off left and right and raping whenever they got a chance. It created the term "god fearing" Because it made people with their small lifespan fear an eternity of hell and also work towards being a good person so they could have an eternity of paradise. Religion created order when it was needed.
Now we have order and information easily accessible to us. There's literally no reason to be religious unless you feel like you need support from some fictional made up being.

I believe that they're is A God but all that religion stuff is shit Muslim claim that unbelievers will go to hell Christians believe if you don't believe in Jesus you'll go to hell.
Believe it or not but Islam is dumb they are all brainwashed Christianity existed about 500 years before them yet the Bible is "fabricated" lie they claim Christians are unbelievers and will go to hell most Muslims are Terrorist, rapist and murders yet you'll still see them praying everyday shouting Allahu Akbar, Hypocrites!! The lot of them know that but they choose to be ignorant.
If you know Islam and Christianity have a lot of similarities (you can research it) this is why Christians are friendly to them Christianity preaches love while they cause Hatred and chaos
This is why I choose to have no religion at all...
Muslims have no respect for other people beliefs and customs a lot of Muslims have forcefully tried to convert me (it is futile) as they say I'll go to hell we'll see who goes to hell if it really exist Who agrees with me like
If I had to have any religion whatsoever it will always be Christianity
And again in Islam everything is Haram (sin) using attachments is Haram not wearing Hijab is Haram Taking Alcohol is Haram Taking or paying interest (Riba) is Haram Showing off is Haram Believing in Astrology is Haram Men wearing silk & gold is Haram Eating pork is Haram It is considered haram for a Muslim woman to marry a non-Muslim man Women going out for leisure and shopping is Haram. Wtf!!

I believe God is so powerful that he can make you serve him even when you believe you are serving yourself. I’ve seen it in my own life and it’s crazy how much God used my previous choices for the benefit of my current life cause I thought everything I did was my idea and I did not know it was always His idea.
Yes. Religiouness has been a part of human nature ever since the dawn of time, to explain the unexplained. Gods are created, others are forgotten, new religions rise, others fall... That's the way it's always going to be.
There may, or may not exist some sort of omnipotent being... or beings... but it sure as shit is not the christian god, or any other human-created god for that matter.
How is the christian god any different from thor, zeus, jupiter, ishtar, ra, osiris, sanamahi and all of the other gods in which humanity has ceased to believe in?
Religion is not in itself harmful if it promotes positive values and keeps its believers free to question it in depth. The more a religion is presented as fact, the more bullshit it is. Indoctrination and the fact that bad things will happen if you don't believe is particularly vicious in abrahamic religions, such as Islam and Christianity.

Of course. That's why there is many of them. If it wasn't man made and created by a true divine source it wouldn't allow other's to exist.
Funny thing is the bible directly address their god don't want false prophets and punished people for following them yet he just stopped caring about that cause reasons lol.
But in truth a real divine source would care about that always and the same religion would be throughout the world. You wouldn't have people on some other country who has never even heard of that religion with their own very different ideals.Yes. I don't just think they are man-made, I am certain of it.
And that has nothing to do with the belief regarding the existence or non-existence of a deity/deities, I simply felt the need to pinpoint that because people often correlate those.Yes, the whole concept is created by man.
To put it bluntly, we invited the stories that got passed down generation to generation to be included in the religious texts, we invited the concept of language in which the religions were transcribed/passed down/recited/spoken, and have been analyzed by we the human beings of the planet Earth.
How else do you explain The Sun God, Zeus, Anubis, Jesus, God, Kali, Allah, etc. all being of one Earth yet not all religions can be right, right? Then how were all these created? Answer: By man. Man invented religions.
God can do everything but balance a checkbook? I smell a bullshit human scam
Sure, why else you think that there is so many of them? looks like God likes to hide. :)
https://www.youtube.com/embed/ODetOE6cbbcYes 100% . The set of rules /stories/ tales in every religion which ultimately make up that religion were written by people. Whether those who wrote it genuinely believed in what they were writing, wrote it for power, or for peace of mind about death is unknown.
Religiousness itself is manmade, I don't think God made us to believe in him but separate ourselves into several categories, I think he made us all to be followers and believers in him all united, then people started having opinions and started creating separation by believing in different things so they formed different religions most likely speaking of the same God, i believe only one is the truth and the rest are twisted versions of gods words, i made my choice Christianity.
Some r, some aren't. In 1688 Emanuel Swedenborg was born. At 50 he used psychic powrs 2 tak 2 soul guides.
6 things he talkd about that peopl who've had current near death experiencers r:
1. God
2. Jesus
3. You're drawn 2 heavn n hell. God doesn't send.
4. Reunions with family members
5. Christians n non-Christians going 2 heavn.
6. Ghosts, 1 near death experiencer askd God if ghosts r real n God said yes.
He talkd about God wanting Jesus 2 come n teach peopl n knowin what would happn 2 him like the New Testament say's. In the near death experience book "Transformed by The Light" it say's what u c in near deaths can be influenced by your culture 2 some extent. I think anothr is your religious belief 2 some extent. They are man-made. They are used to explain things people don't understand and to cope with life. They were later used to manipulate large populations. The catholic church for example out lawed the use of crossbows in war because a smaller military would be more effective. If people feel pressured under "gods law" to behave then society functions better.
👍
Like seriously Adam and Eve.. Noah's Ark.. Moses parting water... Virgin Mary...
I mean they could at least come up with stories that are half believable
Definitely man made, and the best conclusion I've come up with is it was all made to keep certain people inline and mostly cooperative in the world (eg. Slaves or early civilisations) then they all believe if I be good in this world I get to go to another when I die and have everything I've desired
Cause think about it.. would anyone really want to have been a early day slave? Would you rebeel against those treating you that way?
There's your answerDo you really think an all knowing super intelligent infallible god would ever create something as dumb as religion?
Religions are manmade fairy tales. All cultures throughout the world have different beliefs. Many believe that their religion, their god (s) are the only/right one. Major religions have numerous denominations because they can't agree on certain fundamental things; each with 10 versions of their Bible.
A lot of them, yes I believe they are. But true Christianity I believe should be the only religion!
Of course they are. Every religion has a specific founder... who is human.
Yes, everyone knows this is a story written at a desk. I'm a follower of Jesus. I know it's a story written at a desk.
without religion, we'd still be cannibals living in caves scratching each other's asses
we would have never developed language, a sense of purpose much less a code of morals and ethics without religion in the first place
non-believers foolishly think we could've atheisted our way to current society
most are man made.
like the mix called hindu.
budha according to budhists is man made. same confucionists
I don't recall having heard that any God had ever asked to set up an organization in his own favour.
Which -to me- does not mean that I don't believe in God.
All religions are "man-made".
There is a monotheistic God though. He created the heavens and the universe. He is the Alpha and the Omega.
U mean like capitalism? Yes I mean a fortune teller gets paid to give “insight”. Other religious do the same, instead of a crystal balls they use crosses, and books, idols then give a donation..
