What's the most romantic gesture you have ever received?

When had been married only 3 or 4 years, my wife and I got on mismatched work schedules. We hadn't seen each other in 3 or 4 days. I was riding my bike to work, and for some reason I don't remember, I was riding on the opposite side of the road that I normally did. My wife having got an unexpected day off, drove out to meet me. She saw about to ride by oblivious on the other side of the road and she yelled "Hey Sailor" which got my attention. We had a hot chocolate at a nearby restaurant and then she drove me to work. She just wanted to see me. It's a simple thing, but I remember it fondly.
My boyfriend wrote a song for me and a specific situation and also, named the guitar after me that he bought to record it. Every groupies dream, I guess?
Wow that's lovely
Diving into the world of romance, eh? I love it! 😉 Let me paint you a picture. The most romantic gesture I've ever received was a surprise weekend getaway, meticulously planned by my better half. Imagine this: clues scattered around our home, leading me to a packed suitcase and an airplane ticket. Destination? A cozy cabin in the mountains, complete with a fireplace and an endless supply of hot chocolate. The effort, thought, and anticipation woven into this surprise were the true essence of romance. It was like being the main character in a love story, where every little detail screamed thoughtfulness. That, my friend, is romance at its finest! 🌹 What about you? What's been your heart-flutter moment?

A card that meant something that only the guy and I understood. It was an incredibly sweet and romantic way to lmk how he felt at a time when we were both really young and he knew I couldn’t date yet. Sharing that meant the world bc I knew how hard it was for the guy to share and express that.
Similarly, today, when my man shares something from the heart it’s such a precious, romantic gesture — a gift bc I know it’s not easy for him to open up and share that way.
Wow ok
From a non spouse? It was raining and I didn't have an umbrella, this guy ran out of nowhere and held one over me. He asked where I was going and even mentioned I'm not doing this for your number after we get to where we're going. I gave him my number.
From my spouse? Proposed by doing the gift journey across 4 countries with clues. Ended up in Frankfurt where he had the ring. Typical romance, He cleaned the house, made dinner and the whole evening is about relaxing.
Wow the stranger was an angel
When me and my ex were going through a rough patch, he surprised me with a romantic trip to a hotel with really pretty scenery and we did some fun stuff there like biking through the woods, swimming, going for walks by the water and having high tea lol and the room had a hot tub, so it was pretty nice.
After giving me the prettiest bouquet, he took me to a roof top resturant with the sunset in front of us, I got to eat FANCY roasted duck. And he didn't even ask for sex at the end of the night, we just spent all night playing video games LMAO don't think anyone can top that.
Little things. I'll give an example.
One of the first of many gifts I've given my lady, was a bow for her hair. And she wore it as often as she saw me. Of course a little later I learned she doesn't like bows in her hair and it's uncomfortable for her. I asked her why she didn't tell me about it. She said that she wore the bow just cause I gave it to her, and she wanted me to be happy and if I liked a bow in her hair, then a bow was gonna be in her hair. I took the bow back of course and told her that the way to make me happiest is if she is happy and comfortable.
So the thought that she would live her life uncomfortable, just if I would smile was the most beautiful and amazing things of loyalty and love I've seen. (Even if I require no such sacrifice) She let's me know I am first in her life, above all other things. That's a romantic gesture.
Never had guy do anything romantic for me , never gotten roses, teddy bear, never had guy say I love you & want spend my life with you , nothing. Never had guy hold my hand.
just had dates, kisses, one guy say he have love for me & care about me, that’s it. I have gotten gifts but nothing romantic , my love language is romantic touch, never had pic with a guy either.
I think I’ve only held a guys hand once my entire life for 3 seconds 🙁 when no one was looking 🙄
Well, a very close friend of mine (That I dated for a short while) was riding on the electric scooters with me. We rode all the way to indiana and went to the ice cream place across the street from the bridge. He bought me a huge ice cream in my favorite flavor (Bc he knows I love to eat) and asked me out. This actually became my longest lasting relationship, but was also an amazing friendship, even after we broke up.
I was out mowing the lawn and doing some basic house maintenance. Stupid hot outside (104f). After i was done i walked in to a sandwich and a beer on the table, and a note saying "i know you have been working hard, so after you're done relaxing and eating, please come to the bedroom for your dessert" And well that was a fun day. She has repeated this a few times too.
Besides a woman paying for a date I really can't remember anything romantic women have done for me. It really feels like a lot of my efforts are not reciprocated and no matter how thoughtful or detail oriented you are towards the little things they do, they won't give half of that same attention back to you.
Kind of feels like a total waste of time unless you find a unicorn 🤷
Mistress allowed me to pleasure myself after enduring punishment for bad behavior. She even told me what a good boy I was.
@on_my_knees. I hope she at least hit you with her belt a few times.
@KrakenAttackin yes, made out of my skin. It's a miracle I survived after so much skin was extracted from me.
@Decrepit_Discoverer Next she can make a noise and hang you with it.
Noose
I’ve had a guy buy me a thing of roses and a coffee during Valentine’s Day and I didn’t even know the man lol but it was super nice of him to do so. He wasn’t creepy about it which made me feel a little better about accepting the gifts.
Wife threw me a big surprise birthday party with lots of family on a yacht.
"I like your outfit" & "i like your hair"... if you can even call that romantic.
He tied me up with his tie
Lol did he
Never have but in my experience it’s always been me being slightly romantic but I’m stopping that until a female is for me like I’m for them
My ex offered me £5,000 and I turned her down
I guess you didn't want her money
It didn't feel right to take money I hadn't earned
I can't think of any romantic things a woman has done for me.
A blow job it was wonderful. I’m sorry what was the question?
Boots
You like boots
Lol 😆
Love letters.
