Clarifying question: when you say “physical intimacy” do you mean actual physical intimacy like cuddles and hugs or do you mean sexual intimacy because there is a difference and a lot of men don’t know how to tell?
Cuddles and hugs
Both have their own importance, physical intimacy helps sustain the affection in a relationship and helps one to feel and be shown the love they want to receive from their partner. Emotional intimacy helps in showing support, meaning it’s not just about the affection but also the deepening of the connection that’s already present. Every good relationship has both
Yeah
None goes without the other.
As for 'how to create' ... no need to 'create', I'd say. If the chemistry is right, it will pop up by itself.

Both are important, but Emotional intimacy is more important. Physical intimacy is an occasional thing, typically no more than a few hours a week, while Emotional intimacy is all the rest of the time.
Both.
Look, for me in order to become physically intimate with someone, I need to have emotional intimacy first.
Both are very much equally valued when it comes to maintaining the relationship though because the emotional intimacy needs to have a physical outlet as well.
Well said
What @Account said.
i basically need that emotional connection first, it must then become that emotional intimacy or that physical is not even there. Once you have emotional intimacy then the physical will start.
Yeah that's true
For me, sometimes it is just about the sex and nothing more. Other times all that is needed is being able to laugh or cry with someone; No sex required. Then there are times when both are needed to build bonds within the relationship and for a much deeper intimacy.
That's good
Emotional
If a guy can touch me in that level then he can get me on a physical level
Yeah that's true
@Emmytexrex yep
Emotional intimacy is definitely more important. Physical is important too, but it's just not as important.
Hmm ok why do u think so
Emotional intimacy, which does include some physical intimacy.
Which is the combination of both
Hmm ok
As some psychologists say, physical intimacy is 20% but the remaining 80% that makes up other forms of intimacy is dependant on the 20% of physical intimacy.
Slight rephrase after I read my own comment again.
... 80% is the "everything else about a relationship", not necessarily intimacy.
Hmm ok
My brain works at 20% and eyes at 5% when I type from a cell phone 😂😂
Emotional intimacy, I guess. All great things starts with connection. When you really know that person, it's much deeper. Much passionate.
To me emotional intimacy is a nice sauce post physical intimacy. It helps set up more physical intimacy.
a true bond is a priority and the true basis as well
Both.. because without one it doesn't feel like we are actually connecting to each other on a deep level.
Depends on how I’m feeling at the time but both are important.
also emotional intimacy is things like sharing your thoughts and feelings with you lr partner.
Emotional but physical intimacy has emotion in it too.
Ok yeah physical convey emotions that words can not speak
Yep yep
I found after playing the field with my wife that if you've emotional intimacy the physical intimacy is on a whole other level
Wow that's wassup
Both should be equally important.
Yh I think so
Both of them are same but with emotional it's goes well and I love that making love.
Both of them go well with each other
Hmm - physical intimacy 👀🫡
Hmm emotional intimacy - shared interests and shared manners or shared bad habits "oh me you're evil" with bad banter 👿😈😅😃😃
Lol 😆 ok
Both.
I know you like both but there must be one that is more important to you
Both
@Account nailed it.
