So my fiance is from Spain and the other day while she was on her phone her male friend sent her a message with a kiss emoji at the end. I was very upset and she told me there is nothing to worry about as its common to do that in their country.
I just want to know if this is normal behavior as i am a little bit concerned?
If your fiancé is from Spain you should accept her cultural differences.
I completely understand where you’re coming from. I wouldn’t want my wife to have her guy friends sending her kiss emojis either. She isn’t from Spain though which makes your case entirely different. That is literally a part of her culture.
If you trust and love her there shouldn’t be a breach in your relationship. It’s just unfortunate for you that in this case it will tug your feelings a bit. Be sure to communicate that with her but she shouldn’t change her culture for you.
I think it all depends on culture. For me I only send kiss emojis to my girlfriend or the one I am in love with. Because I don't kiss friends, if I'm meeting up with my guy friend, that I haven't seen in a while, I'm not gonna hug and kiss him lol, same way if it was a female friend I haven't seen in a while I'm not gonna kiss her either. I believe kissing in any form should be reserved for romantic intentions in my opinion.
If 😘 this is the emogi you are talking about, it's normally we send to our friends. Sometimes to male friends too. It's not meant to be romantic or anything else for us. I just hv a habit of sending it just as a symbol of love , a friendly love ; nothing like romantic and boyfriend girlfriend kisses. No! this doesn't mean that for us at least. It's quite a normal emogi usually send by a lot of people to their friends as a token of love for the friends only.

Yeah perfectly normal it's even ok for women to hold hands and not be. Lesbians it's just cause some people automatically judge you it's fine to do those things oh she's sent me a kiss emoji she fancies me or oh she's holding hands with another girl she's a lesbian that's what you call people that are to judgmental women can dance together and everything
To each individual and cultural may differ. Personally I don’t do that to platonic guy friends and prefer if my partner does not do that too. Maybe you can talk about what will make you both comfortable / uncomfortable in this situation.
Yea i dont think thats appropriate. My ex texted me yesterday and sent a bunch of laugh signs and then a kiss emoji. I doubt it was a typo but i refused to text him back after that. I think he's testing me
My friends do. It's their way of showing their feelings. I don't mind, my partners didn't mind, their spouses don't mind... Like, we all know there are boundaries and no one will cross them.

It’s something cultural. I’m from Spain also and here is so common send kisses and hugs to friends. It does not means nothing further except a way to waive people when you have some friendship relations
Your situation is odd and it’s reasonable to be a bit taken back from it. I would bring it up again and express how you feel. I do however send kiss and heart emojis to friends.
