My girlfriend’s work friend is a lesbian and keeps hitting on her. What to do?

Hello All,

My girlfriend and I have been going out for about 4 months now. She’s 33 and I am 27. We are pretty open about communicating and she just made a new friend at work who is a lesbian and they have been developing a friendship. What bothers me is that she is constantly flirting with my girlfriend. Saying she’s pretty, complementing her looks and body, hugging her from behind and kissing her cheek telling her she loves her.
My girlfriend told her she’s not into girls and will be her friend but despite that, she keeps doing it. It makes me uncomfortable and I know I shouldn’t worry because my girlfriend is always telling me how she will always be faithful and loyal to me throughout our entire relationship. Her work friend invited her to go drinking with her but I’m nervous because if they get too drunk things might happen. Her work friend even invited me to come along with if it made my girlfriend more comfortable. Should I worry or am I just being ridiculous?

The workmate has been crossing the line with the touching just so it will not be shocking once the alcohol hits. I would go OR she will interpret weakness and he really don’t care for her or he condones my/our behavior. All of these things will be hinted at to your girlfriend.

Sounds like your girlfriend is letting it happen though. I would not allow a lesbian to hug me from behind and tell me all these things if there wasn't something there even attraction. It's like too much overly friendly and yes I'd be worried, even though it was nice of her to invite you it would make me uncomfortable
