Love isn't a finite resource. You don't have some sort of "limit" on how much love you have to "spend" on people.

I'm monogamous by choice, but I can think of three women off the top of my head that I have genuine feelings of romantic love for.

Cheating's still wrong, though. Be open about that shit if you're going to actually try to indulge multiple partners.

I think he can "like" multiple girls at a time. But you can "love" just one. He's infatuated and he'll grow out of it once he spends more time with them. It's still morally wrong though.

That is a very specific and extremely rare situation, in which everyone is informed. This example sounds more like he is playing two girls for double the benefits. In relation to the post it could still be that he wants a polygamist relationship but went about it wrongly and is now cheating. He should've been open about it with his girlfriend and told her about his thoughts on a second girlfriend instead of hiding her
