Would you let anyone disrespect your girlfriend or boyfriend?

I would like to know would you let anyone disrespect your spouse. Whether its a family member, friend, or whoever? Because I feel as a boyfriend or girlfriend your suppose to protect your spouse and not let someone disrespect them especially if you love them. Am I wrong for thronging this?

No definitely not! Just recently my boyfriend and his friends came over and one of them pretended to slap my butt as I left the room and my boyfriend got really mad at him and made him apologize. And he stood up for me when his mom said something without my asking. If your guy isn't doing this sort of thing then that's not good. The same goes for what I would do for him, its important that you have each others' backs. Even the U.S. law recognizes that and that's why you don't have to confess against yours spouse!
