Man, I'm really bad at this when there are good clearance sales. That's especially true with non-perishables at the grocery store. Sometimes I even do it with perishables. I have two refrigerators, and the freezer in both of them are completely packed.
Most recently blackberries were on sale for 50 cents a package. I bought four flats, which is 48 packages. That's a lot of freezing, preserving and making liqueurs.
I also have a ton of other berries in the freezer, mostly blueberries.
Several years ago I bought over a hundred cans of frozen orange juice when there was a good sale. It took a while to use them all.
Canned food. I have at least enough to least a couple of years, probably longer. It gets boring real quick, but I could live on it.
Socks. I probably have at least a hundred pairs.
I bet I have over a hundred shirts also. Recently I took 27 shirts to Goodwill, and it barely made a dent. I need to do round two.
Tools. I've kicked this habit. I used to buy up good deals on tools when I saw them, even if I already had several of them.
Pint glasses. Every time I find a unique bar n grill or restaurant they usually have glasses with their name on it so I try to buy them if I can as a souvenir.
I also actually buy boxers all the time. I keep finding ones I like and get them.
Digital books. I buy books and then don't read them cause I'm busy. I buy them because there is a 5% chance I might read than one day but I usually never get around to reading them.
