I like it a bit away from the wall because otherwise you can't use all of the bed. And also it just doesn't give me a good feeling. When it's away from the wall I feel free but against the wall I feel restricted. But I'm getting a bigger bed soon and then I'll see how I feel.

What kind of psycho puts their bed in the middle? What happens when you start rocking the bed back and forth recreationally? It's not like it's bolted to the floor. The bed needs support and to lean against something 😂

It’s in the middle as I have a bedside unit for each side, room to get out of bed without disturbing the other person and also to ensure plenty airflow for the mattress and bed. Oh and easier to vacuum.

In the master bedroom it is in the middle because the room is huge and the bed is a Wyoming King and would be exceedingly difficult to make if it were against the wall. The other bedrooms have queen-sized beds, all against a wall.
