Even though the love of my life passed away, I have a big picture of him on the wallpaper on my cellphone. I say I love you and goodnight to him every night. Then I kiss the end of my finger, and gently put my finger on his lips on his picture.
Of course he cannot say it back to me anymore, but in the 7 years of our relationship he said "I love you" to me enough to last the rest of my life.
He was very vocal and would never hang up the phone after our conversation without saying "I love you" then blowing me a kiss before we hung up 😘

I thought my love life was over many many years ago.
Then when I was 61, I met him in my apartment building in the library while I was on the computer. There he was! 🙂

I always like to tell people that each day when you wake up and you put your feet on the floor and go on with your day that THAT could be the day you meet the love of your life without expecting it.
It does happen!!!
