Are thick eyebrows a genetic blessing?

I've heard people wasted money to get their eyebrows done and I always found that kinda mind-blowing, they try to thicken them or trim them, even wax so it seems like a time saver, also follow up question do people thin out their eyebrows on purpose, is that a thing? Lol

Thick eyebrows are great yes. A lot of people used to thin them out when "thin eyebrows" were a trend.
