Aren't non-religious weddings just as beautiful as religious ones?

Perhaps as an atheist, I fail to understand why some people think a non-religious wedding isn't a real marriage. There was someone here that claimed there has to be religion involved in the marital vows or else it's pointless. It's him I want, not the bible, nor god nor a priest.

I respect people's views but to think it's not special just because I don't go to church, don't believe in pledging my loyalty to a fictitious being nor praying to imaginary friends doesn't mean non-religious weddings are pointless. Aren't both non-religious and religious weddings beautiful in their own ways? There are still vows in both and it's still a celebration.
