How do you eat Christmas CANDY?

There's a bowl of Christmas hard candies on the table, the kind you like.

How do you eat the candy? One piece at a time? a handful? Multiple trips? Or do you take the entire bowl?

Or maybe this candy is not to your liking.

I take and eat just one piece

We have chocolates tubs in the UK, mainly sold from October to April. There are loads of different bramds. We also have mice pies which is just basically a sweet pie filled with mincemeat, being a mixture of fruit, spices and suet 🥧

Back home in Ukraine, we have strela. It has a very distinctive shape, taste and structure. The base is a metal cone made from a round piece of foil, sprinkled with a thin layer of chocolate. The candy is filled with a brandy-flavoured cream filling 😋

In Ukraine we also have perekladanets. Which is also know as Ukrainian Christmas cake, it is served year round. Its take a long time to make! ❤️

The name perekladanets comes from the Ukrainian word for to layer and refers to the four thin layers of sweet yeast dough with various fillings like poppy seed, date, apricot, walnut and cinnamon sugar ✨️

We usually just have the Hershey chocolate bar holiday mix. I tend to take a piece of the chocolate, then I slowly eat it as if it was a full-sized candy bar (with the wrapper still there). We did one year have the kind of candy you showed in the picture. Those hard candies were good! But mom was upset since she couldn't find the one ribbons.
