What snack do you leave out for Santa?

Growing up in our house it was a glass of sherry, a mince pie and of course a carrot for the reindeer. He must have liked them because they were gone in the morning.

Different houses leave out different snacks but sherry and mince pie or milk and cookies seem the most common.

So what's waiting for Santa on your table?

We started out with milk and chocolate chip cookies. Toll House, of course. But then my oldest son discovered that I like Coca-Cola, so he insisted we change it to Coke and cookies. Then my second son discovered that we had a shared love of brownies. So it changed to Coke and brownies and to this day it has remained.

We always left milk and cookies when was growing up.

Now days, in consideration for Santa's health, I think it's best to leave soy milk and vegan, gluten-free, sugar-free cookies with macrobiotic sprinkles. 🤣🤣🤣

When my kids were growing up, we always left out a small glass of milk and a cookie.

An older friend of mine now leaves a small bottle of whiskey and a condom... for Mrs Claus I guess.
