I understand. When I'm on my period, I'm stuck in bed for 4 days to a week at times. It's so terrible, my heart rate drops sm... and a whole bunch of other symptoms. I had been looking for years to find a way to help, I have a really high pain tolerance, but this was crazy bad. I found stuff called "Afterease" it is for after you have a baby... but helps so much even with period cramps. Also, I found icy hot on my stomach, helps so much too
I agree with @Levin Listen to your body. Rest until it eases and then run if you still feel up to it. My guess is by then you will feel exhausted enough to feel as if you already have run today.
Drink hibiscus tea which you can find on Amazon and sometimes also at Starbucks. Get the Starbucks app and you will see which drinks are offered before you drive there.

Yes, take a rest. Do you take anything for your cramps?
Usually paracetamol but it’s not helping much I can still feel it.

'tis your body. If your body could speak, what would it say?
I'd say just rest today
Have sex instead. It really will help
Rub some dirt on it, you'll be ok.
Yeah I'm sure you can take a day off
