I don’t know if it’s a flex or something, but my pain tolerance high asfff 🤣
I sprained my ankle today running, tbh thought it would hurt way more, now they got me wearing some big ass boot 🤣

I got a bit from a lifetime of vert skateboarding and being injured all the time.
Yet I have oddly sensitive areas. For example, one time I tore up my lip and also hurt my arm. My lip was annoying me so much and it was irritating me so much, like eating food hurt as well as just breathing through my mouth as well as any wind to the face.
My arm was turning purple but I didn't mind it so much.
So my wife kept suggesting I go to the doctor and I finally did since the lip thing was annoying and not getting much better.
Then doctor examined me and said the lip isn't a big deal. It'll largely heal on its own and just gave me some basic medicine for it. Then my wife insisted the doctor check my arm since it was turning purple.
I said it's fine but then the doctor looked at it and asked me to bend my arm and do all sorts of motions and asked me if they hurt, and I said a little bit, and she asked me how much and I said like 3/10. So she said that sounds like no big deal but she wanted to take an x-ray just to be on the safe side and so we got the x-ray.
Then the results came back and she was shocked since my humerus was fractured. It wasn't the biggest fracture but she and my wife were so shocked along with me since I didn't really notice. I just thought I bruised it a lot. My lip seemed to hurt way more.
So I'm weird like that. I think I desensitized most of my body damaging it so much ad maybe damaged some of my nerves as well. Yet I'm still very sensitive in very select areas.
I also got my big toe on my left foot cut off one time and didn't really notice until the next day after leaving a trail of blood all over the house, but I was drunk and I think that was why. It did hurt a bit the next day and I went to the doctor.
Also got this little pic from last year. I got into a little friendly brawl at a bar and the guy totally kicked my ass. After we beat me up and helped me back up and we bought each other drinks and made friends, I learned he's an expert in Karate which explains why he was able to punch me so hard.
I didn't mind it but he gave me some nice bruises there. The worst though was that he hit me in my diaphragm area with an uppercut-like punch that dug into my sides, and that seemed to cave in my left lung a bit. So the bruises I didn't mind and they barely hurt (I've received much worse daily from skateboarding) but all the coughing and wheezing for the following weeks really annoyed me and I didn't like that very much, although it wasn't bad enough to go to the doctor.
Cheers! 🤝 I have some arthritic flares now though in my 40s every now and then, probably from all the previous injuries. It sucks but I find cherry juice and Ibuprofen does the trick.
Definitely. I played football most of my life, so you can’t really be prone to “owwies” if you’re gonna be doing that, haha. Plus it’s like pride thing, I can’t let dude know he hurt me, so I’m popping right back up every time. My back is all fucked up this week from catching a rut in the ice and slamming awkwardly into the boards playing hockey the other night, but I definitely was right up from that…
And I got high sticked in a game a couple weeks ago, legit though my jaw was broken, but I stayed in the game. Couldn’t chew right for like three days, lmfao, but you ain’t getting me to tap. I’m way too proud for that😂
Take care of that ankle👍
My dude was RECKLESS with that stick lmao

I have a high pain tolerance too. But the day I fractured my ankle, I cried like a baby. Couldn’t drive with the stupid boot and taking transit was a curse😆

for some things, yes...
been into sports all my life and even some MMA, when way younger, so I know I can take a lot
but I've also felt that nerve pain, and I can endure some it... I would not dare to say that I would be able to deal with more of that or to a greater level because I've not had it so bad as others have
if I can refuse to take pain killers even if it is killing me, then this means that is not actually as bad as other who need it to just go through the day and still in pain
I don’t know, it depends on the type of pain. Sudden sharp pain sucks, but there is something about long term, dull pain that makes it hurt more and more over time. Nerve pain is that way.
I had a bacterial infection in my right arm bone- just under the shoulder, which also pressed on the nerve and it was by my standards 10/10 on the pain scale. It was incorrectly diagnosed as a pinched nerve in my neck and doctors kept thinking I was faking the pain to be put on narcotics. The ironic part is only morphine even touched the pain and only did so for an hour or two. Since then nothing has ever come close to beating that level of pain.
I'm not sure. Because some pain barely registers with me while other pain puts me on my knees. And a lot of the time the pain I would expect would put me on my knees doesn't.
I think a number of factors come into play including swelling and number of pain receptors.
Pain tolerance is a funny thing, honey. Some days I can totally power through a workout, other days a stubbed toe feels like the end of the world. It depends on the pain and what's going on that day, you know?
My friend kicked my elbow out of its socket and it had to be put back in place. Really sucked. "From 1-10 how much does it hurt" I said ten sometimes, I said nothing sometimes, sometimes it even felt good.
Hard to say. I had a toothache that needed root canal work, but it just felt like a dull ache that I didn't even realise was in a tooth. (The work on it was worse.)
yes i was abused by an autistic person... and he is a fuckinh animal! i will never truet any autistic person ever again
Depends on how much sleep I've gotten & what my testosterone levels are at.
Sure it is.
Remember when i punched you in the shoulder and you cried like a big ole baby
My pain tolerance is quite high, I have endured many pains.
Apparently I do have a high tolerance for physical pain.
Not at all. I've wanted to kill myself before from simply having severe stomach cramps.
Normal, not too much.
I’m stuck with constant pain, so have no idea.
Yes, pain is a state of mind.
I get mad when I'm in pain lol
uhhhh see i do and don’t
don’t be confused then
Yep I believe so
Not really.
