I don't think you need *that* much cardio? I mean, it's important to have a balanced exercise regime. Cardio is one of say 10 things to focus on :) I go to my martial arts class twice per week. It's rare that I won't build up a sweat (and I don't sweat easily). We do things like splashing hands, fighting and wrestling of course gets one sweating, then body weight exercises too. When you're running, if you're worried about your knees, you could run on grass, and also, you don't need to stomp your feet and lift your knees up high when you run. I run in a relaxed manner, holistically, trying to keep a good posture. Hiking is good too for all round fitness. You don't need to burn yourself out each time. There's this whole new craze of working out intensively for a few mins. Maybe that's a bit faddy to me. But yeah, just mix up different types of exercise. I do body weight exercises, yoga, internal martial arts. I vary my intensity. It's important to work out in a relaxed (or yin if you like) manner, too. The yin side for me is about eating well, chilling out, walking, meditation, etc.

Boxing! If you have a membership to your local y or something see if they have any workout classes. They are always fun and your workout is intense and it feels like 5 minutes but it's been an hour lol
Elliptical.
I do around an hour on it every day or every other day. It's a great form of cardio. Low impact so your knees/hips won't suffer, plus you can amp up the resistance to focus on working the glutes/specific muscles, or keep it low resistance to wok on toning more.
My fav cardio is running but I also love rowing and rock climbing which is basically one big body weight exercise in combination with cardio! That's one that takes a lot of preparation though.

I like Cycling / biking the most because theirs so meany ways you can custom your experience with speed and agility, location ( at home / gym or outstayed ) , pulse its easy on your joints
Running is my favorite. I don't really enjoy other forms of cardio.
Long distance cardio is not helpful as sprint. Look at maratoners, they look sick. Do sprint, it makes you healthy instead of auswitch skinny prisoner.
Swimming is a good and the best cardio workouts you can do. i do them all the time now that i have a boyfriend with a pool XD not a big pool only like 2 times bigger then a hot tub
Running, but I also do a lot of different types of exercise at home that involve cardio and strength. You have to do HIIT exercises, you can find examples on the internet.
Stairs (Machine ones). Gyms usually don't have them but it's great for cardio.
Vertical rope machine is pretty fun too, great for the core.
Of course the best way to get cardio in would be using something involving your legs.Martial arts, biking, jump rope, sprints=jumps
I play racquetball for cardio, biking and swimming is also fun.
Exercise machines (treadmill, cross trainer, elliptical)
Martial arts, bodyweight stuff, like burpees, or trail running...
I love swimming. There's very few exercises, if any, that are more beneficial than swimming.
