Okay gym goers. What does cardio do for your body? And will I get really bulky if I weight lift?

As a woman, you will not get bulky if you want to. If you weight train you won't lose the 5 lbs most likely (the scale won't say it) just because your body will want to hold onto more water due to the workout. You will however lose 5lbs of fat pretty easy the scale probably just won't move. Cardio gets your heart rate up and burns fat as does weight lifting. Cardio also increases your endurance.
I have strength trained my entire life and I'm genetically blessed but I've never ever been able to get truly jacked like any guy. I can squat 350, deadlift (I hate deadlifts so much -__-) 310. My legs are large but they still have some fat to make them feminine. Hope this helps!

And no. You won't get bulky. You'll get lean and toned.
Cardio helps burn body fat. You will not get bulky by lifting weights. No one accidentally wakes up one morning jacked thinking oh shit I did a couple too many sets. Lmao Think about it, you have to kill yourself for years to become jacked. Plus, as a girl you lack the testosterone and hormone profile to get huge. Lift heavy!
Lifting weights will help you get toned and it will also hello you lose fat too.

why do girls have so much fear of getting bulky. it´s not like "shit i went to the gym yesterday and now i´m hulk" ... it takes a long time to build mass.
however: yes you will build muscles, if you eat right and lift a lot but it will till take so long so you can adjust your training to stop it. cardio burns calories and enhances your stamina.
cuz sometimes you see people who have really bulky legs

Cardio is great for losing weight, plus toning up. I'd recommend the elliptical with the resistance increased a bit.. It's great for you legs/ass, plus quite a good amount of calories getting burned relative to how much time/energy it costs you.
Running on a track is best cardio, no treadmills, that's dumb. Me being a tiny person I bulk up without lifting just running and doing pull ups and eating a lot. Squats are good for legs but not with so much weight you can't do a lot of reps. I find I bulk up my doing more reps even if I sacrifice weight for it.
Cardio will improve your heart rate, increase stamina, burn calories. Weights will not bulk you up, it will strengthen / tighten your muscles.
Lifting does not increase weight, eating increases weight. Control your diet, eat healthy, and make them booty slap.
Lifting weights helps improve your muscle tone and burn more calories. *Don't worry* about looking less feminine--you would have to be doing it as a full time job and using steroids to get anywhere near that way.
So yah, do weights over cardio.
cardio helps in loosing weight and burn body fat. and its not easily to get bulky by lifting weights, you have to do it and continue it doing it at least for a year then you will be a little toned up.
It will lean you out cardio. Lifting weights will take many years for you to get Bulky and you can't be skipping your workouts as well
