I've heard this said time after time as a campaign slogan, but it seems to place the importance of boobs in front of the woman's life. In my family in particular, there is a very strong history of breast cancer an when my oldest sister was diagnosed last year at the age of 33, they were able to stop the spread but she had to have a double mastectomy and now she said that campaign slogans like that make her feel like less of a woman. What do you think?
I can see why it would be offensive. Rather than focusing that this is to save lives, to save a person, it focuses on their breasts and reduces them to something sexually desirable, as if the fact that these are people dying isn't enough. I don't know, I think that it's a very clever way of getting men to donate, but it's not something I like the angle of.
