I ask because so couples don’t have a problem with it and I even have been the best friend before. But isn’t that low key mean you guys have feelings for eachtother?
My closest friends have always been guys and I've never had any sort of issues. I've honestly never had any of the crazy issues we read about from guys and gals here on G@G: no mixed feelings, no lost and questioning souls, nothing, just really loyal and trusting friends. Thank God, bc there have been quite a few days that a good, reliable friend has been needed.
Yeah, of course I would say there's a genuine (above board, platonic) love there because friends share jokes and positive/negative experiences together... there's a firm "friendship" line there in every case. Gender just doesn't matter.
There have been one or two instances where friendship was offered but wires got crossed, in which case the guy is shut down and the cancelled association is shipped off on a viking ship to Valhalla...

I actually recently dropped mine as a friend because if you actually see value in your boyfriend/ girlfriend , you wouldn’t allow something like this affect your relationship. He didn’t even ask me to drop the friend, however I don’t need to be openly telling my boyfriend I’m hanging with another man instead of him.
Usually the guy liked her but is okay with being friendzoned, and the girl is naive about it and think he sees her as a "sister." Not all the time but a lot of the time that's how it goes.
