Simple question, do you prefer a man who is chivalrous, or one who isn't? Please include your reasons for your answer.
Oh yeah. It's so rare. I was recently traveling in Paris and told someone I'm close with that the guys there are so much more direct and chivalrous than they are in the US. (Don't get me wrong, some guys in the US are very chivalrous... usually the ones raised with high values and a sense of respect for others (not just women, but all people) and have standard manners (like getting up to help an old person, etc. etc.). In Paris, for example, those chivalrous gestures are just a given among guys... Even a homeless guy will get up on the metro to let an old person sit down.)

I was watching a dating coach on YouTube who promotes celibacy before marriage and he says that men can be charming, chivalrous, and have nice manners, and still abuse you after you date or marry them.
He says to focus on the character of the person and not on whether he wears cologne and has a cool jacket.
If you judge character and not clothes or visual charm, the odds of being abused are far less likely.
Maybe they do but they have no business wanting one unless they behave like a lady should

Of course I prefer a man who was raised correctly.
Of course I do. Pretty much all women do.
