Since when is a comment on an opinion something that can be removed for being a “member post?

A man said, in his opinion that he is an employer and he will not hire someone with visible tattoos or piercings. To which I said “ That’s your loss. Plenty of people with tattoos make excellent employees and plenty of people without them make sorry ass employees. This is 2024. Get with the times or get gone. Gag removed my opinion for being a member post. What the hell?

I didn't do it, I'm just saying that might be how they read it. A response to him could have been, "This is 2024. I think tattoos should be accepted by employers" or whatever, instead of "get with the times or get gone." I wouldn't want someone saying something like that in response to a comment I made.

Probably one of the conservative mods that just didn't want to see anyone say tattoos are okay. But you can appeal the decision - I've had to do it a number of times when an obviously biased mod went on a power trip.

Any time they remove a message they give you a DM. In that DM it gives you a link to the post removal FAQ. In the FAQ there is instructions on what to do if you believe your post was removed in error. Basically, send a message to the admins (the link to the message form thing is in the FAQ) telling them which post and theyll review it.
