If all debts are repaid then everything is even
of course, I would. I didn't "raise" them. I poured my heart and soul into our interactions, their education, and our long conversations. I never expected them to repay anything. I'm a parent, not a bank, ffs. I was and still am for them if they need me.

No, people move on, even children.
That would be pretty damn harsh for almost any parent. But I suppose if a kid did that there would be a reason - like hating his parents. Otherwise I don't see why they would do that.
If my child chose to not speak to me I would only be upset with myself because that means I failed them

Thats not a debt to be repaid. The fact that my own child thinks they owe me money for raising them is a huge neon sign that I've been a horrible selfish shit of a parent and they would be better off never speaking to me again.
The people who said no are full of shit. Everyone with a pulse would be devastated by that. Your own child means so much more than any monetary value.
Yes I would be upset. Family matters more to me than money
