How are you finding living in your own house or apartment or unit?

Do you own it, rent it, and do you like it. Big or small. Is it quiet most days or you keep yourself blasting music or loud television loud gaming or loud friends over. I'm just wondering.

I live with my wife in a modest Japanese house. It's not very large although I own it. We can't do things like blasting music real loud though since Japanese walls are very thin (gets pretty cold in the winter even with heating) and it'll quickly start to disturb our neighbors.

Actually my wife sometimes has to point out to me that I'm watching movies too loudly. It doesn't seem so loud to me but my hearing might not be what it used to be. I can't understand the dialogue if I turn it down much lower, so I end up switching to headset.

I have a nice house here in Miami, but last late August they doubled my property taxes it’s extremely difficult now to keep it now
