Do you think this person is being a jerk/rude?

I met with this person had a great time, which was asserted by them. After that we've talked but haven't really met.

I've reached out a few times asking if they'd like to hang out. The last time they showed interest, and when I followed up with them they stated abruptly, I can't move my plans this weekend, I wish you had told me before.

I reasoned out why I did the following to which they countered they'd like to know a week before next time.

I mean I get it, some people find it stressful to hang, but there isn't any formal rule as to when you can or can't reach out, I really felt this person was being rude and kind of disrespectful.

I don’t think they were being rude, it’s completely reasonable to want notice a week or more prior to seeing each other. As adults we have busy lives, work and other things to work around if we want to spend time with someone.

Hmm true, but I kind of felt like it makes me feel like she doesn't value my company much you know otherwise she would be more careful of how she came across.

She may be stressed, and have unintentionally taken it out on you. Who knows. I’d say don’t take it too personally.
