Nope. It sounds like a Black thing. In a lot of Black neighborhood criminals run the streets, and the normal kids stay inside or sit on the stoop so they stay out of trouble. People are a product of their culture. When they get money they leave their neighborhood to do things. Pretty much everywhere else, normal people go outside and respect each other. Most outdoor activities are cheap or free. For example a basketball is like $10-20 but you can go to the park and play for free as much as you want so long as you don't live in the hood nobody is going to bother you. Just walk down the street and enjoy life. All the things that cost money are often indoors at companies like movie theaters, bowling alleys, arcades, restaurants, bars, billiard halls, museums, classes, gyms, climbing walls, concerts and other performing arts, so on and so forth.
Growing in a very poor family money was always a point of stress for my family and so I deliberately took myself outside. Rain , snow or shine I was out. Through hard times financially as a younger adult I’d always take myself out perhaps because of the same choices I made as a kid , being home just reminded me of my position. Since turning my life around financially ironically I do spend quite a lot of time at home in comparison but still enjoy the outdoors immensely , there is a lot to be said for being comfortable though.
Going outside doesn't cost a thing and is good for your physical and mental health , it’s a fallacy that to enjoyment of life is centered around money.
That's literally me.
There's really no point going outside while having no money. Therefore I stayed inside. I still do to this day.
When I had some money to expend I went most often to the beach or the mall. That was however 3 years ago from now.
I am trying to make it with swing trading and not be dependent on the job market circus, hopefully also not on the freelancing market either.
Money at no point has been an issue in my life thankfully and I was always outside as a kid playing sports.
Nowadays I go outside a lot but I also chill inside a lot more than when I was younger. Not spending money is a reason but it's not a factor that I worry about.
I have always been a home body. No desires to travel. Each time I did go somewhere far from home I always want to leave early and go home.
Well, afterall, all my stuff is here.
My creature comforts are at home 🏘️
I was unemployed so I was looking for stuff to do that would not cost a lot of money. I fixed up my bicycle and used to take 20 mile bike rides. I also bought a sticker so i could drive my truck right on the beach.
So, having no money somehow stops me from sitting on the beach? Riding my bike around town? Meeting for a small neighborhood football game? That's news to me...
Therr are things to do outside the house that do not cost a thing
No, there are plenty of inexpensive, enjoyable things to do outside.
Once I found outside, it's been hard to keep me indoors.
Around here hiking paths don't have toll booths.
I'm indoors when it's hot and humid outside which is from May to October where I live
I walked a lot before my stroke, and still enjoy some good walks.
no... but that stupid heat though...
That doesn't make any sense
It really doesn't to me either, but I literally had someone tell me that some time ago, I could have thought maybe if the things you want to do are expensive, and you don't have that kind of money, you might prefer to stay in? I guess lol
Indoors because I was told to stay indoors.
Voted B, indoors is happiness 😊☺️
