Her first two albums were great. It’s a cliche, but it was like a breath of fresh air. Fallen is one of the best singles ever. The third album, As I Am, was okay, but it had some of my favorite songs from her. Starting with the element of freedom, she’s just been boring (no disrespect). She’s too talented to make “bad” music, but her material over the last decade or so has shown no real interest to me.

I can't say... I've never been an Alicia Keys fan.. I really only know one song of hers.. But I would guess that since she's married to a rich man, she hasn't needed to worry so much about making hit singles and did more of what she liked I suppose..
Check who the producers are on her albums. Often, when a band or artist changes producers, it changes the music - often for the worse if the artist or band is already successful.
It's not uncommon that performers start off with a bang and go out with a whimper. The ones that score the hits all the way to the end become the legends. And there aren't a whole lot of them.
I still listen to her old stuff. I just did yesterday. Many artists are not real artists, but Alicia Keys is a real one.
She peaked in her prime artistic years since then got married and isn't focused on music as much compared to when she was younger and childless and single.
