That would be a major disservice. The first film is amazing, and goes through a very impactful thing for our main character. I have no clue how well done Inside out 2 is and honestly I am scared to watch it because they could ruin everything that made the first film great or once again make me really like a film I expected to dislike.
And I would recommend watching the first because if you find the 2nd to be bad then you may judge the 1st on that yet it could be just bad compared.
I think the term “stand alone movie” is what you’re asking about. This is what drove me crazy about the whole Avengers/Marvel movies. If I didn’t watch a marvel series of another universe then I couldn’t really follow WTF is going on in the current movie I am watching and it drove me nuts.
I haven’t watched Inside Out 2 but the first one was really good. Not many people know this movie is about Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy.
You definitely don't have to, but they are both good movies. And of course it's better if you have watched the first one. There were some references I'm the newest movie.
In most cases, a sequel refers back to the previous part, so it would probably be worth watching Inside Out 1 before watching the second part. And it's a very good movie, so I recommend it.
I haven't watched neither of them but one of my friends (who watched both) suggested me to watch the first one before the second one, so I think that would be better..

I mean I’m sure you’ll pick up what’s going on if you don’t see the first one. But why not watch it in order?

Yeah, it can get quite messy if you watch the latest one first. First movie it all started from there, second movie is where she's already growing up.

Don't worry. C-Moon can turn the insides back to outsides and the outsides to insides again.
yes... otherwise, you might implode...
It’s not necessary, but I very much encourage it. They’re both wonderful.
I never watched inside out 2 but I don't think it's essential
No, you have to wait until Inside Out 9 comes out, watch it first, then watch all the others... but backwards from 8 down to 1.
I’m clueless baby
You have to be 10 years old or less.
Yeah
I don't think so
Never heard of it
