So I just finished writing a short story called dusty road
But I'm going to be publishing a New short story in hopefully less than 2 weeks it's about a group of friends who runs into a demon in the woods essentially
The cover is a picture of the demon in the woods and I was thinking of naming it
Lilinoe
In a blood splat kinda of writing what do you think

Lilinoe is a bit too close to Lilith for a demonic character. I would suggest either playing off of that, or changing the name to be more original depending on what you're going for with this character.
Lilinoe is actually a Hawaiian god of mist
Ok, but you are referring to this character as a demon (which may or may be another issue in this context) and my point remains regarding borrowing character names from an existing mythology versus a completely original character.
It's actually the main characters name I'm calling it a demon for simplicity but she isn't really a demon more a delusion of a old women named Lilinoe
How about one of the following.
The Forrest Fiend or The Fiend In The Forrest.
I'm kinda going with lilinoe because it's the market characters name
As in fine mist lilinoe is the goddess of rain.
I run into demons all the time! name it the name of the forrest
