Why is waiting for my paycheck so stressful?

It's a new Job. This is my first paycheck. Like... I have two days off work and I can't get out of bed. I keep checking my bank account and its pissing me off. I dont wanna do anything. I just want to get paid so I can feel better. Why is this stressing me out so bad? I might not even get paid until Thursday. Fuuuuuuuk

Another reason why been rich would be great. I think life goes faster because we just are waiting for our next pay. Even after just been so we automatically calculate how long it is to the next. And we just think about it.
It's so annoying and life was better without that.

I know the feeling when I'm waiting for a cheque, I've had them arrive in a few days sometimes lower than expected and occasionally higher then you have to bank them and wait for them to clear
