i was going to send a email to mom & pop pool company & see if they are hiring
but the place has bad customer reviews on yelp & google.
i don't want to sound evil but i dont care how a person runs their company as long as i get paid.
after leaving my old job & how they seen me as a person to make money. i just see jobs as a paycheck & noting more.
my question is this should someone work or try towork at a place that only has outstanding reviews?

Look man, bad reviews definitely aren't ideal when you're job hunting. But I don't think you necessarily have to rule a place out just for that. A few things to consider:
- Reviews can be biased and only show one side of the story. You never really know what's going on behind the scenes at a company.
- If it's mainly customer complaints but no reviews from actual employees, that could be a better sign. Customers aren't always reasonable.
- You could contact them, check out the vibe over the phone/in person, and get a sense of how employees seem. Are they stressed or okay?
- As long as pay and benefits are good, you might be able to deal with some other minor issues for a while if you need work. No job is perfect.
I'd say look them up, see what the specific complaints are, and go in with an open yet cautious mind. If the owner seems desperate or there are red flags, maybe keep looking. But one meeting can't hurt to get all the info before deciding. You won't know till you check it out, right?
Reviews matter a lot. I’ve heard some serious workplace horror stories.
like retail shops just curious?
Honestly, this applies to any business at all.
