Is the government too involved in deciding how kids should be raised instead of leaving it to their parents?

The United Nations is very interested in making sure that children receive what they call Comprehensive Sexual Education or CSE. Despite the innocuous-sounding name, CSE isn’t just your typical birds and the bees, “facts of life” type of curriculum. The “Comprehensive” part of CSE drifts into myriad subjects that might not be familiar to many parents, or more precisely: are designed to be discussed and taught without the guidance or knowledge of parents at all.

That includes teaching and guiding children on topics like sexual pleasure, abortion, sexually transmitted diseases and their treatment, seeking and using contraception, as well as “gender-affirming care.”

It’s unclear what business the UN has in making sure that children are versed in self-pleasure, intercourse, or life-altering hormonal treatments, but at the very center of all of CSE’s dictates, is the notion that parents should not be centered, or in some cases, involved at all.

This segregation of the “private” lives of students from their parents’ knowledge might sound strange, but it’s already happening apace in the United States. One mother in California recently found out the hard way that many educators, legislators, and medical practitioners see it as their guiltless duty to keep parents in the dark when it comes to important, sometimes irreversible life decisions regarding their child.

Jessica Konen’s daughter was “socially transitioned” at school, changing her identity to a boy, without Konen’s knowledge. The good news in Konen’s case is that she was able to sue and win a $100,000 settlement against the school district. Konen’s point: transitioning genders is an adult decision, and should not have been made unilaterally by educators at her daughter’s school.

I don't fully trust that the government should make so many decisions about raising kids without parents being involved. Some of the things they want to teach like gender stuff and things about sex seem like things parents oughta have a say in.

I can understand them wanting kids to learn basic biology facts, but talking about private parts and changing identities is different. That's the kinda personal stuff I'd want my parents in the know about if it was me. And it ain't right some school just did it behind that lady's back without asking.

If the UN starts telling everyone how to raise their kids more and cut parents out, that would be too much control. Parents know their kids best, not some group in another country. All that One World stuff does sound kinda sketchy when you think the government might be keeping secrets from moms and dads.

I probably won't have kids for awhile, but when I do I wanna be the one making the big calls about them, not just let teachers or doctors do what they want. You gotta watch out the government don't overstep, you know?

This is the slow change into a communist country. THE DEMOCRATIC COMMUNIST PARTY OF AMERICA is slowly taking away the responsibilities, of the family just like they have done in every other Communist country. Our liberties are slowly being eroded away by a relatively small group of people over the years until we realized we have been changed. Standard Communist operating procedure pit the children against their parents. We as a nation are way down that garden path and going deeper everyday. Wake up America it is almost too late to stop!

Not my experience. Sex Ed in Germany happens with respect to kids and their parents. In most cases. Of course sometimes you can read in news about this one teacher in this one school...

In my lifetime. I can not name anything that the United Nations has done for the good of the world. The American Red Cross seems to be the one that provides humanitarian aid to third world and countries that has had devastating disasters. The United Nations avoid getting involved with peace negotiations, as I think that it is their duty to do so. The only thing that sticks out. They have been trying to disarm the American people! Through their small arms treaty.
In my opinion. They are only promoting their one world order government. I suppose they will be our leaders if ever passed!
Trump wanted to defund the UN and kick them out of the US. But as the saying goes. Keep your friends close and your enemies closer! At least you will have an idea of what they are up to.

Well I don’t see why a general basis knowledge of facts is bad? I never had a sex Ed so I had to learn from friends and other people, but I think it would’ve been better if I had knowledge like that at an earlier time. If schools don’t have sex Ed and if parents don’t teach their kids anything, so many people won’t know about puberty and growing up etc. what do u think?

Yep who you think is in control of the schools, which are the buildings your children spen around 8 hours a day in, let's be foreal children spend more time in schools a year than they do in their own home 🙃
