Why is my sister always incredibly critical and opinionated about how I live my life?

She’s always telling me I should buy a house in the subdivision my parents live in (and they live in a small town/my hometown I don’t want to move to). I’ve never indicated interest in this. She puts down where I live and how I could find just as nice a place in my hometown (and I live in a luxury high rise in a big city…). In college I studied computer science and got internships in finance and she told me “what are you even trying to do? Why don’t you just live the chill life?” She has no idea how insanely hard I worked to get my career and move to the apartment I did and I’m starting to get pissed off. Why does she feel this is her place? Is she not happy with her life?

She’s probably just jealous. If she continues to be annoying and nag at you, take a break from her until you think she realises why. Or talk to her about it

It makes no sense to me. She keeps telling me to move all the way back to my hometown and I just did a ton of work to get where I am in my life that she could never do.
