Ugh, the beta... If a girl loves you and thinks in terms of building a home with you, she's likely not trapped in the alpha/beta visualization, so no she's not "calling you" anything other than her potential partner.

I've known a lot of alpha dads... they end up being the little league coaches, etc. etc. etc. "Tier 1 Alpha" is perhaps a better title for that sort of guy... or... Hmm, there's a Michael Keaton movie that offers a humorous vision you might appreciate:

Can you tell me more about what you mean about a Tier 1 Alpha and what the relevance of the Alpha becoming a little league coach is?

@BetaBucks There are "alpha" guys who are like... "It's a bird, it's a plane, it's super alpha" ... They're Tier 2... kind of douchy, impatient with their own skin, always having to do SOMETHING even if there's nothing to do. They need an f-ing tranquilizer gun to sit down for even a few minutes. Ugh... Horrible.

Then there's the Tier 1 Alpha... A somewhat average Joe with skills who gets s**t done. He's so close to a "beta" that he's often overlooked, but this is the adorably good guy who knows how to move mountains without bragging (too much) and knows who tf he is. (The "My Hero" sort of guy, especially for the average Jane.)

Maybe my wife was right that I'm an alpha then. I coach kids sports regularly. And definitely move mountains for people. Also, being that this group is so close to beta, it would explain why I assumed I was a beta. Thinking out loud... I'ma call it "entry level alpha" lol

The alpha/beta thing is just supposed to be about the person’s go-to nature. You are who you are. Don’t you WANT to be both smart AND outgoing? That’s T1. Yeah there’s possibly a T1.5 or something. I don’t know EVERY alpha on the planet. Those are just the two types I noticed.
