The fact you have to come on here and ask that should be your red flag...

Situationships are basically just "relationships" where one or both people refuse to commit, yet don't want you seeing anyone else- it's a relationship without the title. So yeah, you definitely wasted 6 years with someone that doesn't want to settle down, yet doesn't want you with anyone else either :
