What is the best and worst part about being single?

Best:

• I’m not attached to someone who makes me feel bad about myself
• I have the freedom to do what I want. I don’t mean that I’ll be disrespectful in a relationship but I can be off my phone for as long as I want, go out with friends for as late as I want and hop onto a plane and go on holiday whenever I want. I wouldn’t have someone starting an argument with me over that and I am BIG on freedom and independence. Again that doesn’t mean I’m disrespectful it’s just the way I grew up.

Bad:

• Sexually frustrated lol
• Feeling lonely
• DATING. Gosh I hate meeting new men and feeling crap about myself again and again!

Best part about being single , is being able to do what I want when I want , worst part , is being lonely and not really having someone to share things with , not feeling loved or wanted by anyone , and yes sex lol so to me it’s better to have someone by my side that is on the same page with me, that loves me , values me , appreciates me , cares about me etc. the same way I do for them. I know relationships are hard most of the time , but they honestly shouldn’t be hard , because it shouldn’t be hard to sacrifice and remove selfishness for someone that actually loves you and cares about you , it’s only hard, if you can’t do the same for them in return , and sadly that’s why so many relationships fail these days , is because every single one of us has selfishness inside of ourselves and sadly If you can’t remove selfishness for someone? Don’t expect that someone to remove it for you. Why I prefer being FWB’s with a girl in the beginning , but the only FWB’s i will consider being in with a girl? , is knowing her and I are on the same exact page as things , basically her and I only have sex with each other and no one else , but we are both open to date other people if we choose to , if we end up having sex with someone else? We agree to end the benefits part between us and just remain friends. but If one us starts having deeper feelings for the other , It’s our responsibility to open up and say what we need to say. FWB’s I feel is the best way to get to know each other without the pressure of jumping into a commitment with each other right away. Yes there are some strings attached, but not completely. If you both are on the same page with things , To me it’s better to become friends with each other and get to really know each other with the intentions of possibly being together for the long haul before making the big decision to be together for the long haul. Most people that jump right into a committed relationship with each other usually end up butting heads when one of you realizes this isn’t the person I want to spend the rest of my life with , and then one of you has your heart crushed and broken because you now aren’t on the same page with things. FWB’s kind of eliminates that from happening , if you both are on the same page with things and honest with each other. My advice is to not take too long to make up your mind though , because if you wait to long? You might lose your chance of having them by your side for the long haul. From my experiences with FWB’s there is only one girl that I kick myself in the ass over because I was blind to what I actually had in front of me , she was my best friend and I blew it , because I couldn’t make up my mind , she eventually met someone else and that’s when it hit me that I was dumb and being selfish by dating other girls’ instead of just focusing on her. Even though I kick myself in the ass , I still had peace of mind because her and I were on the same page as things and my heart wasn’t that broken, I was just sad that I blew my chance with her. But I was able to move on without feeling devastated like it feels when you lose someone you were committed to completely. Also FWB’s works best when you meet someone that just got out of a relationship pretty much the same way you just got out of a relationship so you both aren’t looking to rush into things , you both have time to get over your exes. and have time to get to know each other without really being a rebound. So far it’s been the best experiences I have with girls’ that I am interested in , but sadly I haven’t met one yet that actually wants to be in it for the long haul yet. Which I am fine with because I know my heart hasn’t be shattered so hopefully she is out there

- There is a possibility that on holidays such as valentines day, Christmas, New Years etc. that going on social media will hurt… (especially if you have recently gone through a breakup.)

- Sex is better when doing it with someone you share an intimate bond with. So you’ll be missing out on that.

• You can concentrate on the goals that mean most to you. Whether that's personal growth or something else.
• You can do any hobbies you want any time.
• You can follow your own schedule.
• You can plan whatever you want to do for the day.

Few bad things of being single:

• You might feel the pain of affection & touch starvation. You can't get kisses, cuddles, and snuggles. But on the bright side you can still get hugs from friends & family at least.
